BLACON SURVEY REPORT
The Chester Cycling Campaign decided as one of priorities to press for
greater access onto the millennium cycleway through Chester in order to improve
and increase the usage of the route. In order to gather background
information about the need for additional access points in the Blacon area, it
was decided to mount a house to house survey amongst households situated in an
envelope approximately 1.8 Km X 500 metres. The purpose of the survey was
to find extent of awareness, usage, comments on the cycle route and desire for
additional access points. The full 14 page final report of the survey was
published in March 2004.
